On August 13, 2019, during vocational activation activities, we wondered what TALENT is.
We have various talents, although we often don't see or appreciate them ourselves.
Abilities, skills, gifts... We are born with them, inherit them from ancestors, and pass them on to our children. We need to take care of them, develop and nurture them to fully utilize our natural potential.
During the activities, we talked about what talents we have, what we need to do for talent to flourish, and what we would like to "borrow" from others.
After this interesting exchange of information, Club members participated in an exercise called "Working with an Image." They had to think for a moment and choose 3 cards that are associated with their own abilities, and then boast about them to the group.
In the further part of the activities, participants learned the parable about talents (Gospel of St. Matthew), and at the end of the meeting there was another brain workout - an exercise called "Suitcase and Basket."
The suitcase symbolized everything we would like to take with us on a journey to the future, and the basket was a synonym for what we want to leave far behind.
