The Community Mental Health Center in Nowy Targ operating at the John Paul II Podhale Specialist Hospital in Nowy Targ cordially invites you to a PREVENTIVE PICNIC titled "IN DIALOGUE WITH THE MIND, BODY, HEART AND SPIRIT."
Dates and locations: August 29, 2021 - Adam Mickiewicz City Park in Nowy Targ September 12, 2021 - Amphitheater and City Park in Rabka-Zdrój
The picnic promotes taking care of mental health and is intended for both children and adults. The program includes: performances by music and dance groups, games and activities, outdoor games, fairy tale therapy, yoga classes, theater workshops, art workshops, discussion panels on mental health and the Open Dialogue therapy method, competitions with attractive prizes.
All our specialists will be available at the picnic: psychotherapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, paramedics, prevention trainers conducting workshops in schools, institutions, and above all, recovery assistants - people who have gone through a mental crisis themselves, completed training, and now provide support.
In tents and during walks in the park, you will be able to talk, consult with our specialists and invited guests, such as artists, clergy, military personnel (e.g., Karol Cierpica - a soldier rescued in Afghanistan by an American soldier), as well as learn about the literary works and handicrafts of Recovery Assistants and Self-Help Club participants.
All attractions are free.
Additionally, representatives of the John Paul II Podhale Specialist Hospital in Nowy Targ, Police, Fire Brigade, and the Podhale State Vocational University in Nowy Targ will be present.
