On May 14, 2019, vocational activation activities were devoted to creating one's own coat of arms shield.
Historically, coats of arms were signs defining social position, achievements, and ambitions. They were worn in a visible place, e.g., on armor, in a ring, on a banner. Great commanders, princes, knights, and nobility had them, and now our club members have them too.
It might seem that a coat of arms has little to do with vocational activation, but the exercise the participants had to complete showed that in a way it does.
What was the task?
Each participant received a sheet showing the outline of a coat of arms. It was divided into four parts, which had to be filled in according to their ideas on the following topics: 1. My portrait 2. Me in the future 3. Hobbies, passions, interests 4. Animal I would like to be
The purpose of the exercise was to strengthen self-worth, develop goal awareness, and increase self-acceptance.
