If someone had recently asked the participants of the Leonardo Self-Help Club in Wieliczka about their successes, most of them would probably have had a hard time answering.
Usually, the word "success" is associated with something big and spectacular.
Our Club members learned during vocational activation workshops on April 16 that this approach is not entirely true and somewhat misses reality, when the topic was creating a box of successes.
What is it?
It's a box into which we throw small notes with things and goals we have achieved. The activities were meant to show that success is a fundamentally very broad concept and we should learn to appreciate ourselves for every small step, plan, task, or goal accomplished.
It's a great tool not only for building self-esteem but also an ideal motivator that can always be opened when we're having a hard time, to remind ourselves that we've already done a lot of good work in life.
