The State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons has launched the implementation of the program "Assistance to disabled persons affected by natural disasters or crisis situations caused by infectious diseases."
Under Module III of this program, the possibility of obtaining financial assistance in connection with the occurrence of an epidemic threat and state of epidemic in Poland has been introduced.
Who is this program for?
Recipients of assistance under Module III are: - Disabled persons holding a valid certificate of degree of disability - Disabled children and youth holding a valid certificate of disability issued before the age of 16
Financial assistance under Module III is provided to disabled persons who, as a result of the occurrence of an epidemic threat and state of epidemic, have lost the opportunity (for a period of at least 5 consecutive working days) to use care provided at a rehabilitation facility in the period from March 9, 2020, to September 4, 2020. This assistance is provided in the form of co-financing costs related to providing care at home.
Amount of assistance: The amount of assistance is 500 PLN per month per disabled person, with the period for which the benefit may be granted not exceeding 3 months.
The benefit is not payable for a month in which an additional care allowance was paid, granted in connection with the COVID-19 act.
